Oh, an easy question.
Because it is better.
Better than Micro USB and Lightning.
Better where?
Everywhere, my friends.
1, Faster: 10Gb per second maximal. Which means 1 second to transfer a 4K movie.
2, Multi-functions: it can be use for recharge, and transfer data, and even transfer Audio signal, which means, you don’t need HDMI、DVI、VGA connectors any more.
3, Two-way transmission: with it, you can use a Charmast power bank to recharge your phone, and you can use your phone to recharge your Charmast power bank. I know, I know you won’t do that, it’s just a metaphor. You can use your laptop to recharge your phone through this USB-C connector.
4, Convenient: there is no heads and tails, you can plug any side in the ports.
5, Progressive: USB-C connector will replace Micro USB and Lightning in the future. Even obstinate as apple had used USB-C on the macbook pro since 2016.
Oh, by the way, it is better looking than Micro USB and Lightning, I guess.
Now, a commercia break, as you may have prepared.
